Grease and flour 2 round 8 or 9 x 1 1/2-inch layer pans. Combine all ingredients except frosting.
Blend on low 30 seconds, then beat on medium speed 3 minutes.
Pour into pans and bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool and frost.
