Easy Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 2/3 c. shortening, 2 eggs, 2 c. flour and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix in large mixing bowl the sugar, shortening and eggs.
Beat until creamy.
Add vanilla, lemon juice, baking powder and salt.
Whip again, then gradually add flour.
Drop on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Press with bottom of glass and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 minutes.
