Easy Sausage Balls is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. biscuit mix, 1 lb. hot or mild pork sausage (room temperature) and 10 oz. sharp or mild cheddar cheese, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Crumble the sausage and mix with cheese. Add biscuit mix, one cup at a time. Form into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter); place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350° to 375° oven until light brown (13 to 15 minutes). Can be prepared in advance and frozen, uncooked.
Cooking may take a few extra minutes if balls are frozen.
Makes about 7 dozen.
