Easy Penuche Frosting
Easy Penuche Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. brown sugar, packed, 1/4 c. milk and 2 c. confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in brown sugar.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir over low heat 2 minutes.
Stir in milk.
Heat to boiling.
Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.
Gradually stir in confectioners sugar.
Place pan of frosting in bowl of ice and water.
Beat until of spreading consistency.
If frosting is too stiff, heat slightly, stirring constantly.
Fills and frosts two 8 or 9-inch layers or frosts a 13 x 9-inch cake.
