Easy Penuche Frosting
Easy Penuche Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. milk and 2 c. confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in brown sugar.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
Stir in milk and bring to a boil again.
Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm. Gradually stir in confectioners sugar.
Place pan of frosting in a bowl of ice water.
Beat until frosting becomes of spreading consistency.
If icing becomes too stiff, heat slightly, stirring constantly.
Great over chocolate or yellow cake.
