Easy Oven Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. beef stew meat, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes, 1 medium onion, peeled and sliced, 1 stalk celery, cut on the diagonal, 6 carrots, cut in chunks and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place raw meat in a 7 x 11-inch pan.
Add vegetables.
Blend salt, sugar and tapioca.
Sprinkle over meat and vegies.
Add tomato juice.
Cover pan with foil, sealing tight around edges. Bake at 250Β° for 4 hours.
If it gets too thick, add water.
