Easy Lasagna
Easy Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 (32 oz.) jar thick spaghetti sauce, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 (15 oz.) ricotta or small curd cottage cheese and 12 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese or monterey jack cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Brown beef in a 3-quart saucepan.
Drain off fat.
Add sauce and water.
Simmer about 10 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients for filling (except lasagna noodles).
Pour about 1 cup of mixture on bottom of casserole dish.
Layer 3 pieces of noodles.
Cover with about 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
Spread 1/2 of cheese filling over sauce.
Repeat layers of lasagna, sauce and cheese filling.
Top with layer of lasagna and remaining sauce. Cover with foil and bake at 350Β° for 55 to 60 minutes.
Remove foil and bake about 10 minutes longer.
