Easy Kuchen
Easy Kuchen is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. scalded milk, butter size of an egg, 1 egg, 1/2 cake yeast or 1/2 pkg. dry yeast and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Melt butter in scalded milk.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add egg, salt and sugar and dissolve yeast in milk.
Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.
Let rise for 1 hour in warm place.
Punch down and let rise again.
Put into 2 (8 or 9-inch) cake pans.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Let rise until doubled and bake 20 minutes in moderate oven at 375Β°.
