Easy Italian Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 clove garlic, crushed, 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained, 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Cook and stir beef, onion and garlic until brown, then drain.
Stir in sauce, mushrooms, sugar, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
Mix baking mix, milk and egg.
Spread half in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch greased pan; top with 4 cheese slices.
Spoon beef over cheese.
Top with remaining cheese slices.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Drop remaining dough by spoonfuls onto cheese.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake 20 minutes.
