Easy Holiday Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. betty crocker supermoist yellow cake mix, 1/3 c. shortening, 1/3 c. margarine or butter, softened, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Mix half of cake mix (dry), shortening, butter, vanilla and egg in large bowl until well mixed.
Stir in remaining cake mix.
Fill cookie press with dough.
Form desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until light brown around edges.
Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
