Easy Fruit Cake
Easy Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. chopped pecans, 1 c. maraschino cherries, halved, 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, 3/4 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a large bowl combine nuts, dates and cherries.
In another bowl stir flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
Add to nut mixture, stirring until nuts and fruit are well coated.
Beat eggs until foamy.
Add vanilla.
Fold in nut mixture.
Mix well; pour in greased and wax paper-lined pan.
Bake at 300Β° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
