Easy Custard Pie
Easy Custard Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 4 slightly beaten eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Thoroughly mix together the sugar, salt, eggs and vanilla. Scald the milk and slowly stir the first mixture into it.
Pour into unbaked pie shell and top with nutmeg.
Bake at 475° for 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to 425° fro 10 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
