Easy Chicken Pie
Easy Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 1/2 lb.) chicken, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 c. chicken broth, 1 c. buttermilk baking mix and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Cook chicken in boiling, salted water to cover in saucepan until tender; drain.
Cool and cut into bite size pieces.
Place chicken in 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
Pour mixture of soup and broth over chicken.
Combine baking mix and milk in a bowl; mix well.
Pour over chicken.
Bake for 35 minutes.
Drizzle melted butter over top.
Bake for 10 minutes longer.
This easy recipe can be prepared ahead and can be frozen.
