Easy Chicken Casserole
Easy Chicken Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. dry uncooked rice (instant), 1 envelope dry onion soup mix or onion-mushroom soup, 1 chicken, cut up (selected or pieces), 1 can cream of mushroom soup and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Put rice evenly in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle dry soup mix over rice.
Place chicken parts on top of mixture.
Dilute soup with 1 can of warm water and pour over contents in dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 300Β° until chicken is tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
May uncover and bake 15 minutes longer to brown.
