Easy Caramels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter (must use butter), 2 1/3 c. (1 lb.) brown sugar, firmly packed, 1 c. light corn syrup, 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 1/8 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a 2-quart microwave-safe pitcher, combine butter, sugar, milk and salt.
Microwave on High 4 minutes, stirring once after 2 minutes.
When butter is melted, stir well.
Microwave on High for 14 minutes; no stirring needed.
Remove from microwave and stir in vanilla.
Allow to stand for 10 minutes, stirring well several times.
