Easy Breakfast Casserole
Easy Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 slices bread, butter, softened, 2 c. cheddar cheese, 1 c. onion (optional) and 2 c. cooked sausage or ham chunks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Butter bread slices on both sides.
Place 6 slices in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with layers of cheese, meat and onion. Top with remaining 6 slices of bread. Beat eggs.
Mix in milk, salt and pepper.
Pour over mixture in pan.
Cover and refrigerate overnight (or all day).
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 50 minutes.
