Easy Beef Pie

Preheat oven
Brown ground beef and drain. Simmer beef, tomato sauce, onion and mushrooms until onion is cooked and liquid is reduced by about a third.
Pat crescent roll dough into bottom
10-inch pie plate to form crust. Beat egg; mix with 1 cup of cheese and place in crust as the first layer.
Add the meat mixture and cover with 1 cup remaining cheese.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
