Easy Batter Rolls
Easy Batter Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. milk, scalded, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 cube margarine and 1/2 c. warm water (not hot!), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Add sugar, salt and margarine to scalded milk.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
When milk is cooled to warm, add yeast mixture. Add egg and beat.
Add 2 cups flour and beat smooth.
Add rest of flour to make a soft dough.
Let raise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
Flour hands and pinch off pieces the size of large walnut and roll into balls, keeping hands floured.
Place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan, 4 across and 6 down, leaving space between.
Let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
Bake in preheated 400Β° oven about 15 minutes.
Makes 24.
