Easy as Pie Apple Cake
A laid-back apple cake baked right in a pie shell, with cinnamon-spiced green apples beneath a buttery batter. Halfway between cobbler and cake, fully old-fashioned.

Place apples in a 9-inch pie shell.
Combine 1/3 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Sprinkle all but 2 teaspoons of cinnamon sugar mixture on top of apples.
