Easter Cookies
Easter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. butter, softened and 2/3 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt onto wax paper. Beat together the butter and sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Beat in the egg, orange rind and juice.
Add the flour mixture, a third at a time.
Shape dough into a ball; flatten slightly.
Wrap in plastic wrap.
Refrigerate several hours.
Roll out on a lightly floured surface about 1/8-inch thick.
Cut into bunny or chick with 3-inch cutters.
Repeat with second half of dough.
Bake at 350Β° for 7 to 8 minutes.
Cool and frost.
