Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in just 44 minutes. Made with box german chocolate cake, c. pecans, chopped, c. coconut, margarine and (8 oz.) cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In an oblong pan or sheet pan, spray Pam on bottom, then spread nuts on the bottom.
Put coconut on top of the nuts.
Mix cake mix as directed on the the box and pour over the coconut. Melt margarine and cream cheese together, add powdered sugar and pour this over the cake mix.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. This cake is "ugly" and looks different each time you make it, but it is absolutely delicious.
