Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. pecan pieces, 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened, 1 stick butter, softened and 1 box confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Put layer of pecan pieces in pan, then layer of coconut.
Make cake mix as directed on package and pour over nut and coconut layers.
Mix cream cheese and butter, then add sugar.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
Spread on top of cake mix.
Bake for 1 hour or until done. Let cool completely.
Serve from pan.
