Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. coconut, 1 c. chopped pecans, 1 box chocolate cake mix, 1 stick softened butter and 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan and sprinkle with the first 2 ingredients.
Mix chocolate cake mix according to directions and pour over coconut and pecans.
Mix butter, cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then drop by tablespoon on top of cake batter.
Bake 40 minutes at 350Β°.
When cake is done, it will look "cracked" like an earthquake.
Invert pieces to serve.
