Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. pecans, chopped, 1 c. coconut, 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 stick butter or oleo and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Grease well a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Put pecans and coconut in pan. Pour prepared cake mix over this.
Next, mix oleo, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together.
Drop spoonfuls of this mixture on batter.
Do not mix.
Bake at 350Β° about 50 minutes or until tests done.
Makes a rich "gooey" cake.
