Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, 1 1/2 c. shredded coconut, 1 box german chocolate cake mix or white, 1 stick oleo and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Combine pecans and coconut and sprinkle in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pans.
Prepare cake mix by recipe on box.
Pour over pecans and coconut mixture.
Blend margarine, cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Bake at 400° to 450°.
Don't overbake.
Cake should be a bit gooey.
This cake cracks, that's where it gets its name, Earthquake.
