Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. pecans, 1 c. coconut, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1 stick margarine and 1 box confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Spray 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam.
Put nuts and coconut in bottom of pan. Mix cake per directions on box and pour on nuts and coconut.
Melt margarine. Mix with cream cheese until well blended.
Add sugar.
Beat about 2 minutes and pour on top of batter.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Cake will open at top as it cooks.
