Dutch Lettuce
Dutch Lettuce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small head lettuce, 1 medium onion, 4 slices bacon, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 level tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Take lettuce apart; wash, drain and dry with a towel.
Slice onion.
Cut bacon into small pieces and fry.
Remove bacon bits. Pour off all but 3 tablespoons of bacon drippings.
While still hot, add salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar.
Stir; add flour and stir well.
Pour dressing over lettuce.
Add bacon bits.
