Dutch Fritters

Dissolve sugar and salt in scalded milk.
Use a large 1 1/2 gallon bowl.
Add margarine.
Separate bowl, mix yeast and warm water. Add yeast mixture and eggs to milk.
Mix with a wire mixer.
Add flour until dough is still soft enough to spoon into hot oil, but not too runny.
Let raise until doubled in size.
Spoon into hot oil, about 370Β°.
Ladle out of hot oil when evenly browned onto old paper bags or paper towels.
Roll in granulated or powdered sugar.
