Made with 5 medium all-purpose apples, peeled and sliced, 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk, 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1/2 c. + 2 tbsp. cold butter and 1 1/2 c. biscuit baking mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Combine apples, condensed milk and cinnamon; set aside.
In a large bowl, cut 1/2 cup butter into 1 cup biscuit mix until crumbly.
Stir in apple mixture.
Pour into greased 9-inch square baking pan.
Combine 1/2 cup biscuit mix and sugar.
Cut in 2 tablespoons butter until crumbly.
Add nuts and sprinkle evenly over apple mixture.
Bake one hour or until golden brown.
May serve with ice cream.
