In a large bowl, sift together the dry ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients; mix until blended, but do not beat.
Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350Β° for 75 to 80 minutes. Cake will crack slightly on top.
Cool in pan on a rack.
Remove; serve plain or dusted with confectioners sugar.
