Dreams is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter, 1/3 c. brown sugar, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1 1/2 c. brown sugar and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Crumble together the butter, 1/3 cup brown sugar and 1 1/2 cups flour to an even meal.
Press evenly over the bottoms and slightly up the sides of a lightly buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake in moderate oven until lightly browned.
Mix together 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, eggs, nuts, coconut, 2 tablespoons flour, baking powder and salt.
Spread over baked mixture.
Bake until set. Cool and cut in pieces.
