Down-Home Chicken Chowder
Down-Home Chicken Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 slices bacon, 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/8 tsp. crushed thyme leaves and 1 can cream of celery soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In saucepan or large skillet, cook bacon until crisp.
Remove and crumble.
Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.
Brown mushrooms and cook onion with thyme in drippings until tender. Add bacon and remaining ingredients.
Heat; stir occasionally. Easy!
