Doughnuts Muffins
Doughnuts Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 3/4 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. each: salt and nutmeg and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In a bowl, mix flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
In another bowl, beat egg with milk, 1/3 cup magarine and vanilla.
Add flour mixture and stir just to moisten.
Equally spoon half the batter into 12 buttered muffin cups.
Add 1/2 teaspoon jam or jelly to each.
Top equally with remaining batter. Bake in a 400Β° oven until deep golden (18 to 20 minutes).
Do not overbake.
