Sift into large bowl the sugar and plain flour.
Mix in pan and bring to boil the oleo, cocoa and water.
Pour boiled mixture over dry ingredients; stir well and add buttermilk, salt, eggs, soda and vanilla.
Mix well and pour into sheet cake pan.
Bake at 350Β° until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
