Double Chocolate Cookies
Double Chocolate Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture.
Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until set.
Cool slightly and remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
Cool completely.
Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
