Cream the sugars and shortening. Beat in egg, vanilla, cocoa, soda and milk.
Mix in flour, nuts and chips.
Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350Β° preheated oven about 10 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes before removing from sheet. Cool on wire rack.
Store in airtight container in freezer.
