Double Chocolate Brownies

Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs. Beat well. Stir together flour and baking soda. Add alternately with topping to butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares.
Makes about 24 brownies.
