Donut Muffin
Donut Muffin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, divided, 1 egg, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream shortening and 1 cup sugar.
Add egg and beat well.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
Add with milk to egg mixture.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Remove from pan at once and roll in melted butter, then in remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
