Donna's Zucchini Moussaka
Donna'S Zucchini Moussaka is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 medium zucchini, cut in 1/4-inch slices, 1 large onion, sliced, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 lb. ground beef and 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In large skillet, brown zucchini and onion in oil.
Place in 2-quart baking dish.
Brown beef; drain.
Stir in tomato sauce, garlic, salt and cinnamon.
Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Spread over zucchini and onion.
Blend cottage cheese and egg; spread over meat.
Sprinkle Parmesan over all.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350Β°.
