Dole Golden Layer Cake
Dole Golden Layer Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. (20 oz.) dole crushed pineapple in juice, 1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed, 1 (4 serving size) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix, 1 (16 oz.) frozen pound cake, thawed and 1/3 c. pineapple juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine undrained pineapple, whipped topping and pudding mix. Let stand 5 minutes.
Cut cake lengthwise in thirds.
Mix pineapple juice and almond extract and drizzle over cake.
Cut lengthwise.
Spread 1/3 pudding mix over bottom layer of cake. Top with second layer.
Repeat layering, ending with pudding. Chill 30 minutes.
Sprinkle with toasted, sliced almonds.
Serves 12.
