Dodie Cookie
Dodie Cookie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. milk, 1 egg, beaten, 1 cube butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook first 5 ingredients on medium heat until it boils.
Boil until thickened.
Remove from heat and add rest of ingredients (except whole graham crackers).
Line 9 x 13 pan with whole graham crackers, pour filling mixture over them.
Put on a top layer of graham crackers and push down gently.
Ice with powdered sugar icing and cover.
Let set in refrigerator for at least 2 hours (so it softens a little) then cut into bar type servings.
