Do-Nuts
Do-Nuts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, beaten, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. buttermilk, 1/2 c. cream and 1 tbsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix nutmeg, 1 cup flour, ginger, soda, baking powder and salt; gradually add the other 3 1/2 cups flour.
Mix with wet ingredients.
Roll out on floured board (place in refrigerator overnight if you want to).
Roll dough to about 3/8-inch to 1/2-inch thick.
Cook slowly in 2 or 3 pounds of lard.
