Do Ahead Sausage Fondue
Do Ahead Sausage Fondue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 slices bread, cubed, 2 c. shredded sharp american cheese, 1 1/2 lb. link sausage, 4 eggs and 2 1/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Place cubed bread in bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Top with cheese.
Cut sausage into 1-inch chunks, brown, drain, then place on cheese.
Beat eggs with milk and dry mustard. Pour over sausage, cheese and bread.
Refrigerate overnight. Next day, dilute soup with 1/2 cup milk and pour over casserole. Bake at 300Β° for 1 1/2 hours until set.
Serves 8.
