Combine sugar, syrup and water in pan.
Cook to hard ball stage.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Beat egg whites and salt until stiff.
Slowly add syrup beating constantly.
Beat until it holds shape.
Quickly drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Note
