Dirt Pudding
Dirt Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. oreo cookies (20 oz.), crushed, 8 oz. cream cheese, 1 c. powdered sugar, 2 pkg. instant pudding (1 chocolate & 1 vanilla or any variation you like--butter pecan is good) and 3 1/2 c. cold milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Spread half of the cookie crumbs on bottom of a 9x13 pan.
Combine cream cheese, margarine, and sugar.
Prepare instant pudding with milk and add cheese mixture.
Stir in Cool Whip.
Pour over crumbs in pan.
Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top and refrigerate. * In our family, we often make this with lemon sandwich cookies and lemon pudding.
The men like it better with lemon.
