Dilly Beans
Dilly Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. trimmed green beans, 1 tsp. cayenne pepper, 4 cloves garlic, 4 heads dill and 1/4 c. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Pack beans, lengthwise, into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
To each pint, add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 clove garlic and 1 head dill.
Combine remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Pour boiling hot ingredients over beans, leaving 1/4 inch head space.
Remove air bubbles.
Adjust caps.
Process pints and quarts 10 minutes in boiling water bath.
Yields about 4 pints.
