Dilled Lamb Stew
Dilled Lamb Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. boneless lamb, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed (or 1 1/2 tsp. fresh dill), 1/4 c. water and 1 c. sliced celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cut up lamb into 2 inch cubes.
Put meat, salt, dill weed and water in a covered microwaveproof casserole and cook (in microwave) until tender for 25 to 35 minutes, stirring off and on.
Add celery and carrots and cook until tender (5 to 8 minutes). Blend cornstarch and cream.
Stir into stew and continue cooking and stirring until thickened.
Do not overcook meat.
Serves 6.
