Dill Pickles
Dill Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 qt. water, 1 qt. vinegar, 1 c. salt, 1 tsp. alum and 1/4 tsp. black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Use nice young cucumbers, cut either round or small whole. Wash cucumbers.
Place a in bottom of jar.
Fill jar with cucumbers and add another piece of dill on top of cucumbers. Drain all from jars.
Mix all other ingredients and bring to a full boil.
Pour over cucumbers and seal airtight.
No processing required.
