Dill Casserole Bread
Dill Casserole Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 1 c. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tbsp. instant minced onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Soften yeast in water.
Combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and yeast mixture.
Add flour to form a stiff dough.
Beat well after each addition.
Let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size.
Stir down (or punch down).
Turn into a well-greased 2-quart casserole dish.
Let rise again until light.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes or until brown.
Brush with melted butter while hot.
