Diane'S Gone All Afternoon Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. stewing beef, cubed or boneless chuck, 3 medium carrots, sliced, 3 onions, chopped, 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered and 1/2 soup can water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Put beef, carrots, onions, potatoes, soup, water, salt, pepper, bay leaf and wine in a lightly greased (I use Pam) 3-quart casserole dish with tight fitting lid.
There is no need to brown meat first.
Mix ingredients together.

Bake in a preheated 275Β° oven for 5 hours.
